Currently it is required that the client and the server use the same major version number so that a connection between client and server can take place.

This means that you cannot connect to a server of version 15 with a Windows client of version 14.

More articles dealing with connection problems:

  • SSL connection error: handshake failure
  • Error Message: Socket Error 10061 Connection Refused
  • When connecting to the server I get the error: "Socket Error #10060 Connection Timed Out".
