Thansk Acebit

Thanks for the heads up that the Android version after upgrading to the latest version no longer allows access to your password DB stored on Google Drive without "upgrading" to a pro version.  How nice you documented this in the release notes in the Play store.

One more reason I am done with this product and won't upgrade my PC version.

  • Dear John,

Due to an intern communication error the new Android app was accidentally released as paid pro version on September 2nd 2019 for a short period of time. We apologize for the inconvenience and are happy to tell you that this error has already been corrected. The app will always be free of charge with all its current features. In case there will be a paid version in the future, this will only apply to further implemented functions. Already existing features in the current version 12.2 won't be affected.

  • Did I miss something? I reached Password Depot via the Android app and I am more than satisfied with it. I have probably already tested 20-30 similar apps: All of them are either fake packages (you have to pay for the full functionality although they are advertised as free) or they are full of advertising.
